We are looking for a passionate Procurement Assistant Buyer* in our technical Project Purchasing Team, where you will be supporting our procurement team in the prototype as well as series production phase of our product. You will run purchasing projects and have a shared responsibility as part of the purchasing process with respect to the quotation and purchase orders.

In case you have obtained prior experience in sourcing of packaging material & concepts, the scope of the job position can be further enhanced – demonstrate to us your further skills and experience!

As the Procurement Assistant Buyer*, you will:

… closely collaborate with our engineering team and technical project buyers
… identify time-critical components, run price negotiations and manage supplier relationship
… trigger the supplier benchmark from the prototype phase to series production
… be responsible for internal order requirements and obtaining the necessary internal and external (supplier) information
… plan and optimize deadlines in a timely manner and follow them up pro-actively
… be responsible for project related bid comparisons and negotiations
… support our purchasing team in the material ordering process
… understand procurement processes, work alongside, and develop them further
… building and maintaining trusting, reliable relationships with supplier representatives, colleagues and internal stakeholders
… establish and improve sourcing strategies and processes for the procurement of various prototype sourcing markets

For the category of packaging material & concepts, the additional key responsibilities are:

… to identify packaging material suppliers, lead the inquiry process, supplier qualification and supplier negotiations to meet price and quality criteria
… to source and implement sustainable packaging material & concepts for our products, in close collaboration with product design, engineering and sales as well as our suppliers
… run the procurement and ordering process for the required packaging material

About You:

Successfully completed economic/technical education (University/HTL/FH)
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the field of procurement/purchasing
Experience in procurement of packaging material is a great plus
High quality awareness and a solid technical understanding
Awareness of high responsibility within the communication to suppliers and partners
You cooperate well with others, are a true team player with strong communication as well as organizational and analytical skills
You have remarkable experience with relevant purchase order systems, ERP-systems and demonstrate a very solid IT-affinity
Your excellent verbal and written skills in English and German round up your profile.
