As a Technical Project Buyer* (electronics / mechatronics), ...

... you search and find the right suppliers for our highly innovative, complex and technical products on the global procurement market.
... you understand the requirements of internal stakeholders from development, quality and product management and translate these into solutions on the supplier market.
... you manage work packages, assemblies and their critical components in an agile and independent manner, from the idea phase to series production.
... you control the communication with our partners and suppliers.
... you communicate closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve your goals. In doing so, you optimize and prepare the basis for decision-making for the management about quality, costs and time.

About you:

You are a technician who has discovered a love of purchasing and can prove that you have successfully completed a technical and/or economic education (HTL/Uni/FH in mechatronics, production engineering, electronics, industrial engineering, etc.).
You bring at least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience as a technical project leader/project manager and/or in strategic purchasing in the fields of electronics, mechatronics, manufacturing technology, etc., ideally in medical technology.
As a "fast learner", you can quickly familiarize yourself with new issues of a technical or commercial nature to derive courses of action and strategies.
You are good at dealing with people, especially in negotiations, and have already demonstrated this in project management or team leadership tasks.
As a project management talent, you speak at the interface between different functions at eye level and move confidently in the thinking worlds of start-ups to large corporations.
With your analytical and entrepreneurial way of thinking, you find a pragmatic solution even in complex contexts.
You can score points with your business fluent German and English, as well as with your professional, self-confident and appreciative appearance with external and internal partners.
You like to travel (about 20%) and enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people.
